We are looking for committed and faithful volunteers that would be willing to share a couple hours a week or a few hours a month with Shepherds.
We have a variety of areas in this organization that could use your help on a regular basis. If you are a retired mechanic or electrician, our Maintenance department might appreciate your expertise. If you are part of a ladies group that would enjoy assisting with the many mending projects that come up in a facility with over 150 residents, our laundry staff would find you invaluable. Maybe you find yourself running errands once or twice a week and would like to pick up a few extras along the way to relieve the travels of full-time staff. You name it; we could probably use your help! Any special activities that you enjoy could also be of great benefit to Shepherds.

Transportation - medical visits, job transport, outings, church services, flight days
Clerical - filing records for Nursing Department, volunteer coordinator, addressing cards
Assistance - detailing vehicles, snow removal, Central Services Building cleanup, painting, furniture moving/assembly, HVAC maintenance
Mentoring - advocate, Bible studies
Food Service - baking, washing, stocking, banquet assistance
Greenhouse - Sales Clerk for seasonal purchases, tree trimming, yard maintenance
Shopping - office supplies once per week
Miscellaneous - skilled services, decorate units and campus for holidays, coordinate activities, wash cars, bake sales, website maintenance
Work Groups - various ongoing maintenance and renovation projects
