I attend Shepherds College
and I am proud to be a part of it. We
have a lot of fun here. For instance,
most weekends we go on fun outings. We
go to movies or shopping, and to museums. We have opportunities to go to restaurants,
play games, or play on the computer. The
only exception is, if there is only one boy and one girl alone, you need a
third person so there will be no temptation.
The rules are there to protect us not hurt us. I like my classes. We take Chapel, Computer
Skills, Cooking Skills, Daily Living Skill. Intro to Horticulture and Culinary
Arts, Language Arts, Money Skills, New Testament, Personal Bible Study,
Personal Development, and Transportation.
We also have Study Hall. I love all
of my teachers. Some of the classes are
difficult and of course we get homework.
Homework helps us learn. Shepherds
College will help us become more independent. The lunches here are very good. The lunch room has a salad bar. I hope you
like your veggies. After school we can either
play on the computer, go to the Commons Area, or finish our homework. The college students have their own apartment
setting to live in. We get to cook our
own food on the stove in our dorms.
Every Tuesday the girls go shopping for their food and every Wednesday
the boys go shopping. You will enjoy
yourself here. You will grow physically
and spiritually in your path toward God.
I hope that you would come and visit.
You will love our college. I
expect to see you soon.
