5. Are we allowed to use cell phones, computers, tablets, etc. while there? Will there be a place for us to store these while we help and are out of the house?

8. What will our schedule be for the week?
Groups should arrive on Mondays and leave on Saturday mornings. Call the Director of Volunteers to schedule your visit. New Groups can expect to have a tour and some training on the Monday of their visit.
If you are bringing a Shepherds Friends Group (High School Students ages 16 and older, paired up with a Buddy for the week) your schedule will be 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. with a break for lunch from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. every day. What you will be doing for the day depends on what your Buddy will be doing, as you will be shadowing that individual.
If you are bringing an adult volunteer group, each member of your team will be doing different things according to their interests and abilities. The group application allows for individual team members to sign up for the activities they are interested in. Please be sure to include all specialized skills that your team members may have.
